"My dad lost his job over a year ago and has filled out all the paper work at GW but the continue to tell him he can afford to pay full tuition even though he actually can't. I live every day scared I am going to get a call from my Dad saying I won't be able to come back next semester. At the same time I have a friend who got extra financial aid money this year for no special reason and is paying $900 to attend GW this semester. I pay $60,000 and my dad doesn't have a job."
Elizabeth B."I'm taking a semester off (potentially the entire year off) because of a subpar financial aid package from GW. They really need to get their act together and stop wasting money on things they DON'T need and start caring more about their students."
Johnny A."Because my friends keep having to drop out from not being able to afford this institution."
David H."We have one of the lowest alumni donor rates in the country precisely because this university mismanages its money. We deserve to know where it is going."
Magdalena S."Financial aid at GW is difficult, at best, to navigate and receive, even for families, like mine, that need it. I hate having to worry semester to semester about whether I'll be able to come back, while the university spends excessively and wastefully."

Patricia S."Because education is my top priority."
Phoebe P."Because I shouldn't have to choose between dropping out or receiving loans that I don't know how I'll ever pay back."
Iona M."I graduated but have had friends affected by lowering of financial aid awards, negligence by staff & unfair ultimatums unless money magically appears out of nowhere. We invest a lot money & effort to study at an institution which we believe is of high quality and it would be nice to know if the commitment is equal on both sides."
