Who we are
After hearing dozens of frustrating stories about GW politics and the lack of financial transparency across campus, we, a group of GW students, decided to create GW Not For Profit.
Whether it’s about a club sport that didn’t get enough money to travel for playoffs or students taking one last class with a departing professor, there is a common theme: not enough money. As a group of concerned students, we’re doing our due diligence researching the financial data behind our university. We need to discover where the problem lies and how we can address it. Our aim is to improve student engagement at GW through open dialogue with university administration. GWFP's main areas of work include Research, Direct Lobbying, Issue Education, and Advocacy. We believe that our work will address a host of financial issues on campus including transparency, student input, and accountability. |
We exist not to hinder the growth of GW, but to strengthen our community for future Colonials.
